Information Handling and Safeguards

Secure Working Practices

Universal Property Systems operates from secure, office-based environments with controlled physical access. We maintain internal guidelines designed to promote responsible system use and general awareness of potential risks, such as phishing or scam emails.

These measures are intended to support professional working practices and do not replace or override client-side security controls.

Overseas Data Access

Offshore team members may access client systems remotely as part of their assigned duties using client-provided systems, logins, and permissions. Data remains stored within client-controlled platforms and environments.

Responsibility for system security, access controls, and data protection within those platforms remains with the client.

Cookies and Website Analytics

Cookies

We use cookies to improve website functionality and analyse usage through tools such as Google Analytics. These cookies do not collect personal information. You may disable cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out tool.

Navigation Data

Aggregated navigation data may be used to understand website usage trends and improve user experience. This information does not identify individual users.

Social Media Interaction

We monitor and manage our social media platforms to encourage respectful and appropriate engagement. Content that is offensive, misleading, or inappropriate may be removed where necessary.

Universal Property Systems is committed to responsible information handling within the scope of our services. While we provide secure office environments and internal guidance, clients retain responsibility for the security of their own systems, platforms, and data.

We encourage open discussion during onboarding to ensure alignment with each client’s internal security policies and expectations.
